Job Fransen

Skill Acquisition Researcher

Mid-North Coast, New South Wales, Australia

15 years studying how athletes learn. Applied with some of the world's most competitive sporting organisations.

About Job

Job Fransen has spent more than 15 years studying how humans learn and develop motor skills, and more than a decade putting that research to work with many of the world's most renowned sporting organisations.

His work sits at the intersection of motor learning science and applied coaching practice: an evidence-informed approach that translates research into tools coaches can actually use.

SkillACQ grew out of a simple frustration: the science was advancing, but practitioners had no practical way to engage with it. The courses and consulting work SkillACQ delivers are Job's answer to that gap.

He speaks at coaching conferences internationally and is a partner in several startups in the skill and expertise space.
